Acthar is a prescription medicine to be used as a short-term, add-on therapy in the event of symptoms suddenly worsening (flare) for rheumatoid arthritis, including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Some cases may require maintenance therapy.

Receive Home Injection Training Services (HITS)

You can have a licensed nurse visit you at home to provide Home Injection Training Services (HITS). This service is provided at no cost and is made available by Mallinckrodt, the distributor of Acthar. If you have any questions about taking Acthar, the nurse is there to answer them.
